Starting 10 churches in 10 years with 10 families committed to the vision of Restore Church. It was prophesied it couldn't be done. We were told we wouldn't make it in Perryville High School. We actually still hear it's impossible. However, because we believed what God said to us before we started to see it come true through us, Restore Church's first campus launched in Havre de Grace in a church building (616 Ontario Street) built in 1943 on September 11, 2011.
In five short months we had 4 services. With no more room to grow in our Havre de Grace Campus, we launched our second campus across the river in Perryville High School on April 8, 2012.
On September 15, 2013 we started our Abingdon Campus at the Ramada Inn of Edgewood. We felt led by God after 6 months to move our third campus to Abingdon's Regal Cinemas.
2014 was the year of preparation for God to grow our Havre de Grace Campus in order for us to purchase property. We moved the Havre de Grace Campus from Ontario Street to Havre de Grace Elementary School for one year on April 20, 2014. During that year, a family in our church purchased an existing church (15 N. Earlton Rd. Ext, HdG) on 26 acres that we had been looking at since we started in 2011. We moved back to the Havre de Grace Ontario Street Campus as we launched our Surround Building Campaign on March 1, 2015. We signed our lease with an option to buy from our investor on April 15, 2015. We were off to the races the next day!
We are on track to open our new office building on Earlton Road in the fall of 2015 and move our main campus' church worship experiences to Earlton Rd. from Ontario St. in early 2016. We're transforming the old church built in 1987 on Earlton Road to a 300 seat sanctuary with state-of-the- art technology, connecting all of our campuses with live broadcast as well as creating lots of space for our highly effective children's program.
Our fourth campus opened on September 20, 2015 at Elkton High School. The majority of the equipment used to lauch this portable campus in Elkton was from the move to Havre de Grace Elementary School. God had bigger plans than we did when we purchased that equipment.
We believe God is just getting started!
